Mike Garry’s poetry is inspired by the beautiful ugliness of our city. His heroes are the underdogs, the lost souls who wander rainy streets searching for reasons. Here he reads from his new book, Mancunian Meander, Meander taking us on “a poetic journey through the avenues and alleyways of the city / A peep from behind the net curtains at a world we try to ignore.” He is joined tonight by a Marvin Cheeseman & Reverend Porl - look out for other special guests at the two other readings. Each event concludes with an open mike. A free event.
