One of the most venerable poetry groups in the UK, Pennine Poets celebrates its 40th anniversary with the launch of two richly varied anthologies. Today’s six readers, Julia Deakin, Ian M. Emberson, Olga Kenyon, Pauline Kirk, Ed Reiss, and K.E. Smith, show the relevance of poetry to the ‘big issues’ of our time but also reveal the funny, frustrating minutiae of our daily lives.
