Writing from the Ground Up is a walking, writing workshop in Lowgill, as part of the Bowland Arts Festival, Led by Jane Routh.

Alternating walking and observing with writing time in which to explore how we can deepen our immediate responses using association, personal experience and social history, memory and imagination.
Covering approximately two miles, the circular route will take in a varied landscape of streams, woodlands and farmland, returning through Lowgill village and along a section of Roman road. (A wet weather alternative will be provided.)

Advance booking for courses is essential, if any programme does not attract sufficient numbers by its booking deadline it will be cancelled and any course fees reimbursed in full. Refunds are not given on places cancelled following the booking deadlines.

Workshop runs from 10am to 1pm
