Keats’ (bright) star was never higher than in the wake of Jane Campion’s recent film. This short course looks at the ideas, the sensations and the forms of some of his greatest poems, particularly the Odes and ‘The Eve of St Agnes.’ It will conclude by considering Keats’ reputation as set by Shelley’s elegy for him, ‘Adonais’.
