Folk icon Ashley Hutchings (Fairport Convention / Steeleye Span / Albion Band) was musical director of the National Theatre’s acclaimed adaptation of Flora Thompson’s much-loved classic account of rural life. Now, in response to the popularity of the BBC serialisation of Lark Rise to Candleford, Ashley has assembled a six-piece band to perform music, songs,readings and dances associated with these productions.
