Earlier this year Kate Jessop's first 'poem-film' for the project 'Desires' (based on a poem by Gaia Holmes) was screened simultaneously in Los Angeles, New York and various venues across Canada and Australia and New Zealand as part of International Women's Week! Kate's later film 'When the Telescope Came' (based on a poem by Diana Syder) picked up the Femme de Fantastique award at January's London Short Film Festival, for her new film.
