Award winning crime writer, Peter Robinson is visiting Blackburn Central Library on March 21 at 6:30pm as part of his book tour promoting ‘Piece of my heart’ the latest in the bestselling Inspector Alan Banks series. Peter Robinson has won five Edgar Awards, and the Crime Writers Association ‘Dagger in the Library’ award voted for by librarians and reading groups. Peter Robinson currently lives in Toronto, where he occasionally lectures on crime writing at the University of Toronto’s School of Continuing Studies. One of his books, ‘Blood of the Root’ has been included in the ‘Independent Mystery Booksellers Association’ (USA) ‘100 favourite mysteries of the 20th century’.
