This exciting life writing workshop is part of Tangled Roots - an international programme of performances, workshops and books that celebrate Britain's mixed and multi racial families.

The workshop will be led by life writing expert Dr Katy Massey. The theme is 'Home' and the workshop is open to participants of any age, experience or background. As part of the workshop, you will write about true life stories - whether your own or others' - with the added incentive that one person's writing on the day will be adapted and featured in the Tangled Roots live performance that evening at Three Minute Theatre.

The workshop will take place from 2-5pm at the Commonword offices on Mount Street (entrance via the green door on Bootle Street). Commonword is behind Manchester Central Library, next to Velvet Central and beneath the Friends' Meeting House (Quaker building).
