‘Alan Bennett would have enjoyed it’ – former Cheshire Poet Laureate Joy Winkler’s innovative verse/drama TOWN is the tale of a daughter's quest, helped by a stranger and the magic of a town’s annual festival. Dragons on bicycles, devils playing guitars and ‘a bit of magic after all these years’ are only part of the glittering backdrop.
