June Francis is the liverpool based author of Flowers on the Mersey and The Pawnbroker's Niece. Born in Blackpool and having moved to Liverpool at an early age she started writing in her forties producing articles for My Weekly and now has published over twenty one novels. The books cover a period spanning from the Edwardian era to the the rock and roll years with several books set during the turbulent events of the two World Wars. June is amongst the most borrowed authors in the libraries.

She will be signing copies of her books at Pritchards Bookshop in Formby, soplease come along and meet her in person.
