Local crime novelist, Neil White returns to Blackburn Library on Tuesday, May 12 at 7:30pm to talk about his new thriller, ‘Last Rites’. Neil’s previous visit was voted ‘Best Library Event 2008’ in the Blackburn with Darwen reading group awards. In his latest book he has drawn on local history, drawing inspiration from the experiences of the Pendle Witches, entwining dangerous rituals that overshadow modern life. Neil combines fast paced action with sharp attention to detail in his writing, yet when chatting about his work he also throws in a measure of good humour that guarantees an entertaining and informative event.
