Time to Read and North West Libraries launch 'Perfect Places' scheme

3rd October 2012

Perfect Places is a scheme from Time To Read and North West Libraries, which aims to encourage people to borrow poetry from public libraries, to read more widely, and discover living British poets from this part of the world.

Twelve poems inspired by the region have been selected including pieces from Rebecca Goss, Carol Ann Duffy and John Siddique. Highly visual posters of the poems will reach all sorts of venues including schools, public venues and waiting spaces (Doctors, Dentists, Hairdressers etc), drawing attention to individual poems. At the same time libraries will display collections of specially purchased poetry books and host events with the chosen poets.

The scheme launches Oct 4th
