The UK's most important international short story prize has recently announced that this year's short story judge will be Jane Gardam. The poetry prize will be adjudicated by Lavinia Greenlaw. The prizes will be 1st prize £5,000, 2nd prize £1,000, 3rd prize £500, plus 10 runner up prizes of £50 each. All winning entries will be published in an anthology, and the closing date for entries is 30th June 2006. Entry forms and other details available from www.bridportprize.org.uk
