Waterstones Deansgate is delighted to welcome Alys Fowler to Manchester for the release of her debut work of creative non-fiction, Hidden Nature.

Join Alys in conversation with bookseller Emma as they discuss the author's solo adventures in a kayak, the hedgerows and waterways of Britain, and the peace of the natural world that we so often bypass.
Hidden Nature is also the story of Alys Fowler's emotional journey and her coming out as a gay woman: above all, this book is about losing and finding, exploring familiar places and discovering unknown horizons.

Tickets for the event are £3, which is redeemable off a copy of 'Hidden Nature' and include wine and soft drinks on arrival.
