The course aims to enhance teachers’ engagement with the gothic mode through two days intensive classroom-based discussion and analysis, setting core texts against their cultural, critical and theoretical contexts. Includes seminars on Macbeth, Dr Faustus, Wuthering Heights, Jane Eyre, Frankenstein, Dracula and The Bloody Chamber.

Cost of attendance: £300 per course. For a further fee, students can go on to complete assessed coursework and gain MA-level credits.
