Merseyside Polonia, a Liverpool based organisation creating links between Polish and British culture introduces one of Poland’s most talented living authors Pawel Huelle in conversation with award-winning translator Antonia Lloyd-Jones. The event is hosted by Merseyside Polonia and organised in partnership with Comma Press publishers http://www.commapress.co.uk/ This event is also supported by Polish Cultural Institute, Polish Book Institute, Arts Council England and Wspólnota Polska. The author will be on tour in the UK and choose Liverpool among other few major cities. Cold Sea Stories tells tales from the Baltic Coast, but all share a common thread: each one is built around a different book, from the bible to a toy shop catalogue. There will be time for questions and discussion with the author and the translator as well as a chance to buy books and get them signed by the author!
