Merseyside Polonia, a Liverpool based organisation creating links between Polish and British culture introduces one of Poland’s most talented living authors Pawel Huelle in conversation with award-winning translator Antonia Lloyd-Jones.

Huelle together with the translator will discuss a stunningly inventive book of newly translated short stories. Cold Sea Stories tells tales from the Baltic Coast, but all share a common thread: each one is built around a different book, from the bible to a toy shop catalogue.

There will be time for questions and discussion with the author and the translator as well as a chance to buy books and get them signed by the author!
