Suzanne Batty

The winner of this year’s well-regarded international interfaith poetry competition will be announced at this celebratory event, featuring readings from the shortlisted entrants and competition judge, Suzanne Batty. Suzanne’s first collection, The Barking Thing, was published by Bloodaxe in 2007. She was a founding member of the urban poetry project the A6 Poets and co-editor of Rain Dog magazine. She teaches creative writing at Sheffield Hallam University.
