Museum Without Walls is the new book by the cultural critic, writer and filmmaker Jonathan Meades: join us for a launch event including a discussion with Manchester architecture commentator Phil Griffin.

Museum Without Walls includes essays on the picturesque as an English disease; Birmingham’s beauty; the futility of landmark buildings; what to do with Anglican churches; why buildings are better unfinished; so-called regeneration in Manchester; and much more, all laced with Meades's trademark wit and narrative agility, good and bad taste, deep seriousness and knockabout comedy.
