A fitting finale!

One of our finest poets makes a welcome return to the Trust to close the 2012 readings. Kathleen Jamie’s poems consider Scottish identity, gender politics and, more recently, our relationship with the natural world. She will read from her first collection of poems since her award-winning The Tree House.

Rachael Boast won the Forward Prize for Best First Collection for her remarkable debut Sidereal. She is a Romantic poet for the 21st century, utterly contemporary but picking up the legacy of Coleridge: both lyrical and philosophical.
