Comics writer/artist Tim Perkins is coming to Blackburn library on Thursday, February 2 at 7pm. This event is part of the celebrations leading up to National Libraries Day on Saturday, February 4. He will be talking about his experiences in comics and promoting his latest graphic novel, ‘World’s End’.
Tim Perkins’ career in comics includes: working for Marvel UK, 2000AD, Marvel US, DC comics, Defiant, Tekno, Caliber, Fleetway, Newsstand, and Toontastic amongst others. His career highlights in comics have included: Dreamstone, Dark Dominion, Phage - Shadowdeath, Chopper, Dinoswords, and Dr Who. He has recently worked for ‘Hot Wheels’ comic.
In ‘Worlds End’, A Mathemagician, called Gweldar, his familiar, Geek, a young boy, Ralf and a mysterious girl called Zephol are all that stand before an invading alien horde intent on aqua-forming the otherwise tranquil planet in the far reaches of space.
Are they enough to stop the myriad forces, known as the Aoevill from the depths of outer space and solve the mystery of Worlds End…?
