Having funded a nomadic lifestyle by working as a designer, photographer, film-maker and cartoonist, DBC Pierre’s first novel, Vernon God Little, erupted just before his 40th birthday. It went on to win the Man Booker, Whitbread First Novel and Bollinger Everyman Woodhouse prizes. His second novel, Ludmila's Broken English, was published in 2006, and he is currently working on his third. This reading will be followed by a Q & A session.
