Sonia Hughes  is a phenomenal artist and performer,  one of the jewels in the crown of the North West England literary scene.  She has been described as a 'sensuous wordsmith' who can hold an audience in the palm of her hand. As well as a regular performer at Speakeasy she is currently writing a theatre piece 'Weeding Cane' as well as collaborating on another theatre piece for Nitro Theatre.
