Fat Roland is a writer of two surreal short story collections. He is an award-winning blogger and one fifth of Manchester’s Flashtag writing collective. He was commended in the 2011 Manchester Fiction Prize and his surreal holiday story Norway was runner-up in the Pereine Press Short Story Month 2012. He runs Bad Language Manchester, a literature organisation based in Manchester dedicated to the promotion and development of new writing and host open mic events.
