Joe Stretch is a Manchester-based, first-time novelist, whose book Friction is published in March 2008 by Vintage. He is currently editing his second novel, Love Song, and working on his third, New World/A Season in Wow Bang.

Joe is also lead vocalist with 'electro death pop band' Performance.
